Why we love it: Immerse yourself in the wild jungle during a captivating half-day exploration. From the boat station, you'll discover Tham Khit Cave, nicknamed the "Ancient Man's Cave" due to the fascinating prehistoric relics found there. Na Phong Cave

Distance: 3 – 5 km
Why we love it: Go for a peaceful stroll near Bo Lu village, which will plunge you into the heart of Vietnam's history! This route passes through areas that housed Voice of Vietnam Radio during the resistance war against French colonialists. Na Phong Cave, a lesser-known site, is easily accessible via stairs. However, for the more intrepid explorers wishing to delve into the steeper parts of the cave, a local guide is essential!

The boat ride back on the lake to the peaceful Bo Lu Village, with its traditional Tay stilt houses, is the icing on the cake of this memorable expedition.

Pu Lau Bamboo Forest – Yen Duong

Duration: 1 or 2 days
Why we love it: For a softer and more refreshing option, ideal for summer, head to the charming Dao village of Pu Lau. Located 15 km from Ba Be Lake, this village is surrounded by a dense bamboo forest, offering a soothing atmosphere. [You'll follow jungle paths and streams to a majestic 300-meter-high waterfall, where locals raise trout and silkworms.
