Hoi An, known as Faifo, with more than 2,000 years history, was once the principal port of the Cham Kingdom. It controlled the strategic spice trade with Indonesia from the 7th to the 10th century and was a major international port in the 16th and 17th centuries. After it's glory days, it became a beautifully preserved, charming town which has become one of the most popular destinations in Vietnam. This two day tour will uncover the history and beauty of this sleepy riverside town.

Our tour guide and driver will pick you up and you to Hoi An. In  Hoi An your guide will take you to visit some of the most important historical sites in the town. You will visit the enchanting old quarter where many of the buildings have been preserved in near pristine condition. Today you will visit an old house which was once used by the merchants who visited the port. You will also visit the Chinese Assembly Hall to see the incredible decoration and architecture and the ornate Japanese Covered Bridge. In the evening you will enjoy some delicious local food followed by an overnight stay in Hoi An.

Day 2
Hoi An - Da Nang Departure (B, L )

After breakfast, we will visit the jagged Marble Mountain which is made of five peaks, each representing one of the five elements. The mountains are covered with tiny Buddhist shrines, set back into caves and crevices. The mountain was also used as a Communist hospital during he Vietnam War. You will then have free time to enjoy the nearby beach before heading to Danang for lunch. After lunch, you will travel to the airport for your departure.
